The historic Armory building in midtown St. Louis will be transformed into an entertainment venue called Rec Hall by developer Green Street St. Louis. The venue will feature activities like pickleball, ping pong, and cornhole, along with food and drinks. Rec Hall will occupy an 80,000-square-foot space within the Armory and is set to open in the summer. The Armory, built in the 1930s, was originally intended for the Missouri National Guard. Green Street aims to revitalize the building and eventually include a rooftop bar and basement space for seasonal events as part of its redevelopment plans.
