Rec Hall, formerly a pop-up bar known as Recess in The Grove, will become the main tenant in the historic Armory building in St. Louis’s Midtown neighborhood. This project is a collaboration with Green Street St. Louis, and the 80,000-square-foot space will offer various recreational activities like cornhole, bocce ball, ping pong, retro video games, and more. Rec Hall also plans to host leagues for various sports. The venue’s central location, size, and diverse activities aim to attract a wide demographic. The new location will include a full kitchen, a full bar, a stage, private event spaces, and a rooftop bar, with plans for a tennis hall of fame in the future. Rec Hall is expected to open in the summer of 2021.
