Green Street’s $55 million redevelopment of The Armory in Midtown will feature Rec Hall, an 80,000-square-foot entertainment venue. Initially opening in the summer of 2021, Rec Hall will offer a variety of activities, including cornhole, ping pong, retro video games, and more, along with a full bar and kitchen, stage, and private event spaces. The concept plans to host leagues and tournaments in various sports and eventually occupy the entire building, adding a rooftop bar, a tennis hall of fame, and space in the basement for seasonal events. Green Street also plans to introduce the Rec Hall concept in St. Charles.
