After a 15-year cleanup effort, developer Green Street is poised to acquire the last pieces of the former Carondelet Coke site, one of the most polluted properties in the region. The St. Louis Land Clearance for Redevelopment Authority authorized the sale of the remaining land to Green Street. This redevelopment effort signifies a major transformation of a formerly contaminated area into a productive and job-creating space in St. Louis.
