Projects at Union Station, Urban Chestnut Brewing Co. and Ballpark Village are among the 2014 Keystone Award winners from Associated General Contractors of St. Louis.

Rather than recognizing beauty, the annual awards to go contractors successful in overcoming challenges. Judges chose the winners from among nearly 30 finalists in the construction of educational and medical facilities, entertainment venues, laboratories, power plants and factories.

AGC of St. Louis represents nearly 400 commercial, industrial, heavy and highway contractors, industry partners and related firms. The organization’s 17th annual Keystone Awards ceremony was held Thursday night at the Renaissance Grand Hotel in downtown St. Louis. Also recognized were First Place Specialty Contractors in 11 disciplines and Specialty Contractor of the Year.
