Takashima Records, a Japanese whisky and record bar, is set to open its doors in St. Louis’ Grove neighborhood on February 20th. The venue will offer a selection of Japanese whiskies, sake, and cocktails, as well as an extensive vinyl record collection. The bar’s menu will feature snacks like salt and pepper cashews, sashimi options, onigiri, and a rotating soup selection. Takashima Records aims to provide a laid-back atmosphere for patrons to enjoy music and drinks, with a subscription program offering access to discounted bottles and educational classes. The bar will be open Tuesday through Sunday, with late-night hours.
