Toby Martin
Chief Operating Officer
Toby Martin joins Green Street as a partner and Chief Operating Officer. With twenty years of experience in investment and management roles, Toby adds broad experience in investing, finance, new business development, investment management, and property operations to the Green Street team. Toby is an experienced developer of industrial, office, and retail properties. With roles in both the private and public sectors, Toby brings discipline and process around investment management and operations.
Prior to Green Street Toby served in senior roles at midwest real estate companies including Colliers Turley Martin (Cushman), Duke Realty, and NAI Desco Commercial. In addition, he founded his own real estate investment company, Martin Properties, in 2004.
He received an undergraduate degree in Fine Arts from Lawrence University in Appleton, Wisconsin, and an MBA from Washington University. Toby is a longtime member of SIOR and has served as an adjunct member of the Olin School faculty, teaching a course in Real Estate Finance.
