Danny Stricker

President, Chapters Living

Danny Stricker has over 15 years experience in senior living and post-acute care, which began in 2007 when he started his career as a nursing home administrator after graduating college. His experience spans operating 50+ diverse senior living communities across 11 States and the District of Columbia, leading financial turnarounds, driving new senior living development, leading and operationalizing complex merger and acquisitions, scaling market leading quality and memory care programs, and continuous leadership development of high performing teams.

Prior to partnering with Green Street and Co-founding Chapters Living, Danny spent more than 11 years at St. Louis based Ascension, where he most recently served as the President and CEO of Ascension Living, the $550M senior living and post-acute subsidiary of Ascension. Operating as the fourth largest non-profit senior living organization in the United States, with over 6,000 employees, Danny led the growth and financial turnaround of Ascension Living–completing a $30M operational turnaround before the COVID-19 pandemic, and operationalizing over $200M of acquisitions into the complex portfolio. Additionally, he led the strategy of over $80M in recapitalization projects that transformed the competitive positioning of previously distressed communities. Danny was promoted four times throughout his career at Ascension, where he originally started out as a nursing home administrator and served in key roles as Chief Operating Officer, Vice President of Strategy, and a Regional CEO.
