Jerry Crylen, Senior Vice President of Investments, guides Green Street St. Louis with strategic investments, structuring and underwriting on major projects. Jerry joined Green Street in August 2017 with over 30 years of experience in commercial real estate portfolio strategy and management across multiple asset classes valued at over $2.1 billion for private and institutional owners. Jerry enhances Green Street through his expertise in capital formation, finance, acquisition, disposition, leasing, and asset management for new development, core and value-add investments. Jerry’s experience with adaptive repositioning, construction, commissioning, property operations, and land use master planning involving office, industrial, multi-family, medical, and hospitality properties assists the management team with the development of their real estate portfolio.
Prior to joining Green Street St. Louis, Jerry served as Senior Vice President of Wexford Science & Technology, a subsidiary of Bio-Med Realty, overseeing portfolio assets and development at Cortex and the Danforth Plant Science Center in St. Louis. Jerry’s real estate practice experience extends across the US and internationally including partner and executive management positions at CA Ventures, Equity International Properties, and The John Buck Company. Jerry is former chair of the Urban Land Institute – St. Louis District Council, actively involved in local non-profit community development, BOMA, and a real estate / finance / economics graduate of Bradley University.
