A new Save-A-Lot supermarket is opening in Lafayette Square, addressing the neighborhood’s grocery needs. Located at the former Foodland plaza, which was redeveloped by Green Street St. Louis and renamed Jefferson Commons, the 17,678-square-foot store offers fresh produce and more. Green Street undertook extensive renovations and redevelopment, including a new roof and other improvements, with a total cost of $8 million.
