Green Street’s $20 million second phase of multifamily development in The Grove, St. Louis, named “Hue,” is on track for a late-year opening. This 111-unit project offers studio and one-bedroom apartments and follows the success of the adjacent “Chroma” project, a $52 million, 235-unit development that opened in 2018. Despite minor weather-related delays, construction remains largely unaffected by COVID-19 due to stringent safety measures. Hue will share amenities with Chroma, including a pool, and offer its own courtyard with BBQ pits and outdoor entertainment options. Rental rates are expected to range from $1,100 to $1,400. The Grove enjoys high occupancy and rent rates, further supporting this expansion by Green Street. Additionally, Green Street has two other multifamily projects underway in Forest Park Southeast.
