Green Street St. Louis is demolishing a building to pave the way for two apartment towers, with a combined project cost of $160 million, near the historic Armory building in Midtown. Each seven-story tower will have 265 units, totaling more than 500 apartments by the Armory. The Armory, initially intended for office space, will now be repurposed as an entertainment district featuring various venues, including a lounge for nightlife and the Rec Hall entertainment venue. The developers aim to create a vibrant and lively neighborhood that complements the nearby City Foundry redevelopment project and promotes an entertainment ecosystem in the area.
