One of the projects we’re currently working on at Green Street is the redevelopment of the former Carondelet Coke facility. Recently, it was one of the largest areas of continuous vacant land in the City of St. Louis – and also one of the most heavily polluted. The process of creating “coke,” part of the fuel used to produce steel, involved heating coal to purify its state. That process also created hazardous chemicals that lingered in the surrounding area.

Now, a fully remediated “brownfield” site, River City Business Park offers build-to-suit opportunities with suburban business park amenities, in an excellent, urban location.

Follow along as we work to revive a piece of St. Louis’ industrial history, transforming this area into a LEED-certified business park. If you’re planning on building or expanding in St. Louis, contact us today to learn more about this project.
