Before Green Street acquired the Green Park Broadway location, it was often vacant and the building’s aging design had made it nearly obsolete. In fact, much of the neighborhood in north St. Louis was on the decline, with little to no commercial activity. We saw the potential and invested in revitalizing an area that had the potential to be a hub for businesses.

Going gold

As we set to renovating this location, we focused on reusing the structural core of the building. We updated the entire location and expanded the building’s footprint with a tilt-up addition. Throughout the project, we put our sustainable expertise to work, using greener practices and materials for the build. Today, Green Park Broadway serves its two tenants efficiently, standing with a LEED Gold-certified core and shell.

Building businesses

Since its completion, two businesses are now tenants of Green Park Broadway, Raben Tire, one of the largest truck tire and service companies in the Midwest, and Goedecke Equipment Company, a leading supplier of construction equipment and engineered products. On a larger scale, this was one of the first renovation and new construction projects in the immediate area. Since its completion, Green Street attracted the first Love’s Travel Stop in St. Louis and constructed CSTK’s new hub.
