Green Street Development Group was awarded “Development of the Year” for the construction of a 56,000 SF facility for Central States Thermo King, Inc. (CSTK-St. Louis) at 420 Carrie Avenue. Dedicated to sustainably developing underutilized properties, transforming them into productive work environments and ultimately revitalizing the surrounding communities, Green Street continues its investment and transformation of the City’s North Riverfront Commerce Corridor with the completed construction of CSTK-St. Louis.
CSTK-St. Louis is a diversified distributor of transportation, construction and communications equipment and related services. The new 16-bay 16-acre service facility offers service and sales operations for CSTK’s diverse lineup of products. The $11.8 million redevelopment of a former junkyard and rail switchyard afforded CSTK the opportunity to expand its operations in St. Louis while integrating state-of-the-art technology. Approximately 46 jobs were retained and an additional 22 will be created in the City.
This is the fifth time Green Street received a “Development of the Year” award from the Mayor’s office.
